Three Custom Audiences Every Business Needs

There is so much you can do with the Facebook Custom Audiences Integration that we have. In fact, you may find it tough to get started. So let's just simplify this to the basics – the first three custom audiences that everyone should create.

The first is the All Subscribers Custom Audience. On this custom audience you want to put everyone that is on your list. If you use a controlling tag that all of your marketing list email subscribers have, then this is very easy. Simply create a campaign that starts with that tag goal and then adds them to your custom audience.

The second is the All Customers Custom Audience. As the name implies, any customer would be on this list. This too is simple as you can simply use a “Purchases Anything” campaign purchase goal to add any customer of any product to your customer custom audience.

The third custom audience that everyone should use is the Unengaged / Opted Out Custom Audience. You'll use this custom audience to try and re-engage former subscribers or those that have become unengaged in your marketing. You can easily automate this as well by simply adding them to this list when they opt out or become unengaged (using our Email Engagement Triggers). Don't forget to also remove them from the first All Subscribers Custom Audience using the Facebook Custom Audience Helper as well.

There you have it – three quick and easy custom audiences that every account should be using. You'll now have the basics in place to be able to setup some very nice little Facebook Retargeting campaigns that can be very productive and profitable for your business.
